As a Specialist I supporting our Packaging/Assembling Family, you will be trusted to do machine set-ups and adjustments and solve routine operating problems. It also requires being able to understand and verify specifications and evaluate product quality at Sinking Spring, PA.

IN THIS ROLE A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:

  • Perform a variety of moderately skilled repetitive manual operations and/or operations involving the use of machinery or simple tools to exacting standards

  • Strict adherence to SOP's and GMP's

  • Ability to read and understand product specifications and documentation

  • Assist in maintaining of detailed product documentation and verification of applicable records

  • Must supervise product quality during manufacturing process

  • Diagnose and solve routine operating problems

  • Assist in training Operator I's and II's

  • Perform set-ups of machinery in the area. This will include, calling up accurate program, placing the correct tooling in CNC turning center, acquiring raw material with the accurate item number for that component, and loading the component into CNC turning center.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

  • Work hours: 3rd Shift: 5pm-5am (2-3-2 Schedule)

  • Travel Requirements: None

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Technical Background

  • Previous Machine Operator Experience
