Job Summary

The LVN II is accountable and responsible for selected aspects of patient care for a designated group of patients within the LVN scope of practice, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The LVN practice is assigned, delegated, and supervised by a RN or MD who has overall responsibility for the coordination and management of care.

Pay Range

Minimum $30.33 Midpoint $40.19 Maximum $50.05

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

Required: Minimum one (1) year of LVN experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Vocational Nursing.

Training

• Required: None required.

Preferred:  Bilingual in English/ Spanish both written and verbal.

Licensure

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Licensed Vocational Nurse - CA (LVN); Ped Emerg Assess Recog & Stabil (PEARS) - must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Work Environments - Functional Demand:

Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .
