Job Description

Responsible for Global Fund Services Transformation and Strategy practice by bringing together several key capabilities to architect integrated programs that transform Global Fund Services including Strategic Growth Transformation, Transformation Strategy & Design, Technology Strategy, Business & Sales Transformation, and AI & Data Strategy.  Executive reporting on progress and metrics development for tracking efficiencies and cost reductions will be paramount.

The role will ensure new technologies and platforms support the business and improve profitability (and expense save) through more effective transformation efforts; drive the automation enhancements and continual evolution from manual to exception-based processes; and gains in efficiency ratio, revenue ratio and fund per FTE.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop future state technology, systems and processes architecture strategies to increase profitability, catalyze growth, and ultimately deliver value across the GFS stakeholder set.

Manage and deliver components of transformation that identify, design, and implement solutions to solve business challenges; Determine capability improvements required to operate at efficient scale.

Design actionable strategies and roadmaps that business units will utilize to deliver on priorities and goals, and transformation.

Develop financial models depicting both the financial investment and future efficiency and value of technology implementations and organizational re-design.

Craft quality deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships - whether on a small engagement or as part of a larger inter LOB transformation.

Manage and collaborate with teams and other LOBS in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.

Oversee the communications and training of the technology implementation and implications for respective business units.

Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability including the design and facilitation of client workshops and statement of work development and/or client proposals.

Oversee the management of key vendor relationships.

Identifies business risks and operational challenges and takes steps to mitigate risk and enhance operating systems and processes.  Coordinates the development and implementation of operational changes within the unit.

Manages a staff, hires new staff, and trains employees to successfully meet business objectives.

Maintains a high level of current knowledge and comply with all U.S. Bancorp policies and procedures and all applicable government regulations. Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.  Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas.  Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively works with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years of experience in one of these sectors: Financial Services, Hedge Fund, Fund Services or Private Equity

  • 10+ years of professional experience in a consulting or relevant industry setting with demonstrable depth of knowledge

  • 8+ years of experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing strategies for technology improvement to articulate leading business issues and trends, including the associated technology implications within one or more industries

  • Experience, either functioning as a Senior Manager in a Consulting environment or managing teams in an Operating environment with intersection of Technology and Strategy

  • A Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to travel 25%

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $180,710.00 - $212,600.00 - $233,860.00
