About Lakewood Regional Support
Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.
Purpose:
The Parts Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the stock of replacement parts for Laundry I & II. Their duties include inventory control, sourcing parts and providing essential information about the parts in relation to the machinery.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maintains optimal level of inventory.
- Forecasting parts needs through understanding of machinery maintenance schedules and expected hours of use.
- Conducts a monthly parts inventory and audit with invoices.
- Monitors product pricing to regulate expenses.
- Develops product knowledge and working partnership with vendors.
- Receives, logs and organizes parts including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them.
- Is responsible for controlling the parts going in and out of the part storage.
- Instructs and follows up with engineering staff on use of the inventory system and accountability.
- Oversees emergency and critical parts orders as needed.
- Work with Chief Engineer to ensure all parts are on hand and readily available for repair.
- Responsible for ordering all required PPE for the Engineers in the Laundry Department.
- Trains Engineers on the different types of parts and how they should be used, and how they should not be used.
- Owner of the transcendent system for the Laundry to include labeling, scheduling and monitoring PM schedule.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Certifications & Licenses:
- Equipment certifications are a plus
