SENIOR AUDITOR II
We are currently searching for an experienced auditor which experience in risk management, specifically Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). We are looking for candidates who are comfortable explaining complex ideas in a simple and understandable way. This role will have you meeting regularly with company leadership and building relationships with key contributors. Given the importance of ERM, this role offers exciting opportunities for professional growth and contribution to strategic enterprise initiatives.
You will play a pivotal role in working with company leaders and assisting them in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across their organization. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into the company’s strategic and operational processes.
This role will also be assigned advisory or assurance audits, making it important for the candidate to easily navigate between the ERM and auditor role with the same level of proficiency in both fields.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Partner with leaders across various departments to enhance risk management activities.
Develops collaborative relationships with various levels of management across the company to build and maintain risk management ownership and accountability.
Lead and conduct risk assessment activities, risk-based audit reviews, consulting and special projects.
Collaborate and assist process owners on identifying potential risks.
Evaluate the company’s risk environment and controls, assist in identifying complimentary activities to mitigate risk.
Monitor and analyze risks associated with market trends, business operations, and regulatory changes.
Facilitate and assist in conducting annual business process owner self-assessments.
Accumulate, analyze and summarize data that will be presented to the Company’s Risk Council, CEO Staff, and Board of Directors.
Participate in preparing for and presenting results to senior management and stakeholders.
Continuously seek opportunities to automate and develop tools and best practices that assist in the administration and reporting of the program.
Align with Internal Audit on the creation of the Internal Audit Plan to influence appropriate coverage.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, risk management, operational or related field.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in risk management or a related field.
Experience in ERM, operational risk management, internal audit, compliance, business process re-engineering/business transformation.
Experience working and implementing key risk frameworks including COSO, ISO.
Proven experience thinking out-of-the-box.
Strong relationship building and collaboration skills.
Presentation and communication capabilities including the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and understandable points of view.
Knowledge of key applications preferred. (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, CoPilot, Data Analytics, etc.).
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$73,000.00 - $158,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
