Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage a team of data scientist & machine learning engineers
  • Competency development – developing people through coaching and mentoring
  • Successfully manage end to end delivery of data models (ML & DL) including architecture, infra. needs, resourcing, budgeting and prioritization
  • Lead and Guide Machine Learning Engineers with model selection, feature extraction and model building
  • Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects
  • Delegating tasks to Junior Data Scientists in order to realize the successful completion of projects.
  • Monitoring the performance of Junior Data Scientists and providing them with practical guidance, as needed.
  • Keep up with current trends and build competency in team with PoC’s/Products
  • Lead discussions with business stakeholders
  • Build Business problem/need to Data Science problem statement and solution approach
  • Align data projects with organizational goals

DATA SCIENTIST SKILLS / TOOLS / TECHNIQUES

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • A knack for statistical analysis and predictive modelling
  • Knowledge on Data Structures & Feature extraction
  • Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning and computer vision.
  • Strong development experience in Python
  • Good knowledge in python for NLP and Deep learning
  • Outstanding supervision and mentorship abilities
  • Knowledge on GCP or other cloud platforms will be an added advantage
  • Excellent presentation skills to turn data into stories to persuade business leaders
  • Excellent skills in conveying Data Model technique and results to non-technical users
  • Adept at collaborating with a range of stakeholders to deliver data projects
  • A true promoter of agile way of working
