Job Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and design and implement automation solutions to drive efficiency and reliability, with a strong emphasis on continuous deployment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system automation documentation and version control to ensure transparency and traceability.
Define and uphold server installation/configuration standards for OS, hardware, software, and version levels, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Lead continuous quality improvement processes in collaboration with operations and deployment teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
Deploy, maintain, and enhance software and system monitoring services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Design and implement robust continuous integration and deployment environments, leveraging Ansible automation to streamline development processes.
Mentor and lead others in the adoption of current and future toolsets and technologies, driving innovation and growth across the team.
Skillsets:
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a DevOps engineer, with a focus on infrastructure automation and continuous deployment.
Expertise in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
Extensive experience developing Ansible automation for configuration management and deployment, with proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, Concourse, or Jenkins.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for container deployment and management.
Proficiency in any of the programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript etc.
