Patient Flow Specialist - RN - Patient Coordination - Nights - Columbia University Irving Medical Center

Join a growing team responsible for collaborating with various disciplines throughout our hospital to coordinate the admission, transfer and discharge of our patients. Work in a state-of-the-art Patient Placement Operation Center to regularly review the status of patients and anticipated bed availability/requirements, and use the automated flow of data and real time patient information to effectively manage patient flow and throughput.

Preferred Criteria

  • At least one year of bed coordination experience 

Required Criteria

  • At least three years of acute or critical care RN experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
