Responsibilities for IAM Engineer

  • As an IAM Identity Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, building, engineering, delivery, and support of the Identity Access Management Technologies Troubleshoot, Identify, and resolve technical issues.
  • Implementation of Identity Access Management concepts, including authentication, authorization, access controls, access control attacks, identity, and access provisioning life cycle.
  • Work as core member of Rockwell IAM team on Mergers and Acquisitions. Responsible for working with external/internal entities to design and implement strategy to integrate IAM landscape into Rockwell IAM stack.
  • Experience with key Cybersecurity aspects such as network security, cloud security in addition to IAM domain.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain our IAM technologies.
  • Resolving technical issues in the IAM Platform through problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for moderately complex issues.
  • Define information security requirements for business applications applying a risk-based approach and working with departments.
  • Responsible for development activities such as coding new workflows, application connectors, APIs, and IAM integrations.
  • Contribute to the development of IAM automation processes for support of daily operations and the gathering of metric and reporting information.

Qualifications for IAM Engineer

  • Experience with IAM stack and its interrelation, expertise in Identity and entitlement management and governance using Sailpoint IIQ and Privileged Access Management.
  • Prior experience with Merger and Acquisition (M&A) in IAM domain.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Information Security and/or Identity and Access management.
  • 5+ years of experience with IAM concepts including Customer IAM(CIAM), Identity governance (IGA) using Sailpoint IIQ, Privileged Access Management using CyberArk.
  • Experience working with both on-prem and SaaS versions of Identity product stack.
  • Strong experience with common web access management domain related skills (e.g., understanding the concepts of cookies, sessions, header / cookie variables, HTTP traffic flow / analysis, etc.)
  • Knowledge of deploying applications using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Bitbucket,etc
  • Clear and accurate and provides useful feedback.
  • Ability to manage tasks and of responsibilities.
  • Strong team-oriented of people and roles.
  • Ability to work across multiple team settings and collaborate in the deployment of IAM technologies and processes.
