Job Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to company policies and SOP requirements.
Establish effective working relationships with supervisory and non-supervisory employees in the casino and other functional and support departments.
Meet with vendors and establish external contacts with vendor’s salesman related to buyer’s assigned area of products, services or specific department.
Ensure that vendors in assigned area of products, services or specific departments meet established delivery dates at the lowest possible price with required quality and quantity.
Participate in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on purchasing spend activity.
Resolve all problems associated with satisfying and fulfilling purchasing requests in assigned areas of products, services or specific departments.
Job Requirements:
Working Experience: No need work experience to Purchasing, but attention to details and analytical skills are required (Hospitality industry preferred).
Educational Level: High school graduate or above.
Language/Computer Skill: Good working knowledge of PC computer software. (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Flexibility Schedule: Flexible to work on normal weekdays.
Other Requirements: Ability to be flexible and be multi-tasked, organization skills to function effectively with attention to details while meeting established deadlines.
