Student Engineer - Advanced Safety

You will be working alongside fellow students as well as seasoned professionals in a broad range of areas such as:

• Scripting in python and/or Matlab
• Data analysis
• Development of new algorithms for our products
• Validation and testing of ADAS systems, including test drives
• Instrumentation and maintenance of test vehicles
• CI/CD

Your Background

• Current engineering student located in Gothenburg (mandatory) with a background in Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, Automation and Mechatronics or similar.
• Experience in the following key areas is merited: Python, Matlab, C/C++

Aptiv Gothenburg Student Engineer Initiative

Each year, we welcome several Student Engineers to join our team in Gothenburg. Our long-term goal is to support your development and transition into a permanent role. Here's how the journey typically looks:

• Part-Time During Semesters: You’ll be employed on a part-time basis during the academic year, with a recommended workload of 1–2 days per week.
• Full-Time in Summer: We offer full-time contracts over the summer period, while ensuring you have the flexibility to take vacation.
• Ongoing Collaboration: We aim to extend your contract for as long as it’s mutually beneficial and you're interested in continuing.
• Master’s Thesis: You’ll have the opportunity to complete your master’s thesis (or equivalent project) with us.
• Permanent Employment: Our ambition is to offer you a permanent position after graduation.
