Position Summary

As a Temp PIC, you will be on the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to pharmacist roles and responsibilities, you will temporarily be the Pharmacist in Charge of operations on file with the Board of Pharmacy, ideally for a period of 180 days or less. You are accountable for the oversight and operational aspects within your pharmacy as defined by your Board of Pharmacy and CVS policies and procedures. This includes but is not limited to:

A key component of the Temp PIC role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. Additionally, you will:
· Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team
· Motivate, inspire and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues’ strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps
· Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy
· Successfully implement those solutions by leading your team to achieve specified goals
· Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting

Required Qualifications
As a Temp PIC, you agree to complete the required Board of Pharmacy paperwork to oversee the operations of the pharmacy to ensure all policies, rules, laws, and regulations are in compliance with requirements.
This is not a people leadership role. As such, all direct reports of the Pharmacy Manager will roll up to their next level leader. i.e., Rx District Leader.
This role is temporary, ideally less than 180 days in role, and is equivalent to the Staff Pharmacist role with the addition of being the Pharmacist in Charge on record with the State Board of Pharmacy.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60.00 - $73.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
