About the Team: The ‘CI Ops Team’ is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to accurately and efficiently identify new product matches with competitor websites and responsible for maintaining established competitor matches. The Team plays a critical part in ensuring that our product offerings remain competitive in the market by evaluating competitor products, specifications, and other relevant factors and providing competitor insights.
Job Summary:
The CI Operations ‘Analyst’ is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Competitive Intelligence team, ensuring smooth execution of key tasks such as task prioritization, task allocation, and delivery of results to the business and technology teams. This role drives the implementation of matching initiatives, match audits, and strategic business initiatives aimed at improving product competitiveness. The CI Operations Analyst ensures the team operates at a high level of productivity while maintaining exceptional accuracy in the output generated. Additionally, this role focuses on optimizing throughput, supporting cross-functional teams, and delivering actionable insights that support business growth and decision-making
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to create highly accurate product matches within the competitor's product catalog, ensuring consistent and reliable outputs that support business goals.
Manage daily operations by prioritizing, defining, allocating, and ensuring the timely delivery of tasks across the team, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.
Supervise and direct a contingent workforce focused on manually creating product matches, overseeing match validation/Audit processes to ensure high-quality and precise matching.
Collaborate closely with SSCM and SSCB pricing and business stakeholders to define clear requirements for ad-hoc or on-demand requests for competitive data, executing manual processes as needed to meet business requirements.
Monitor outstanding business requests and ensure that deliverables are consistently met with high quality and within agreed timelines, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Track and analyze operational metrics to monitor team productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Develop reports and present insights to key stakeholders, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
Oversee and manage the entire product matching lifecycle—identification unmatched items, Product matching, and maintenance—while proactively working to clarify requirements and remove any obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
Ensure that the team’s skills and capabilities are aligned with operational requirements, providing training and professional development opportunities as needed to enhance performance.
Develop deep subject matter expertise in competitive product matching, staying current on industry trends and applying best practices to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of product matches.
Lead the audit and QC processes to ensure ongoing accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established guidelines.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years’ experience in an analytical role and having relevant experience in competitive intelligence
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
2+ years’ relevant experience working directly with business stakeholders
Knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries
Hands on experience with MS excel, proficiency with formulas, pivot tables.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and with global partners
Effective communicator – ability and skill to write, present, and listen effectively
Secondary Skills (desired)
Experience with reporting tools (PowerBI, etc.)
