Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Working experience on Energy components – Quorum 2. Hand-on experience on Data base – PL SQL (DDL, DML) 3. Knowledge of Oil & gas upstream – conventional or unconventional or Transportation (Mid-stream) 4. Has prior experience of enhancing workflows, incident management and configuring EC tool Good to Have skills: 1. Knowledge of cloud technologies 2. Experience of managing servers and associated infrastructure 3. Petroleum Engineering background would be an advantage Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas Upstream. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
