The Agile Business Analyst, as part of the delivery team, is responsible for facilitating clear and open communication between business stakeholders, developers and the product owner; and to support Quality Assurance (QA) where needed.  This role is a major contributor to enhancing the development team’s overall capacity to meet the needs of Prezzee customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the business on high quality solutions, including the Product team and Tech team stakeholders to lead and facilitate business requirements elicitation, ensuring high quality and suitable coverage.
  • Engage with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements (both business, functional and non-functional requirements).
  • Deliver business solution requirements or user stories, producing the relevant artefacts to ensure traceability 
  • Consult with the business and product managers to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritisation around business value.
  • Work with product managers and epic owners to develop delivery plans, as required.
  • Analysing business platforms, systems, processes and structures to properly articulate issues and opportunities and validate solutions with reference to the appropriate context
  • Review and provide inputs to UAT test cases to ensure design integrity with functional business requirements.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a Business / Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance or Product Owner role is ideal but not essential.
  • Solid experience working with ‘Agile’ methodologies 
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with proven experience and team culture success.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Solid knowledge in generating process documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
