In this role, you will be part of the HR Technology team which optimizes Workday HCM as the central HR system to support our People Strategy. Your key responsibility would be to oversee the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the Workday platform to support to internal stakeholders. You will ensure that proper governance is in place to maintain timely and accurate data in Workday as well as ensuring continuous improvements are carried out to streamline business processes so that best practices are implemented for the University.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system administration and enhancement of core functionality
- Provide all operational support work on Workday HCM including but not limited to
- Perform event and incident management, troubleshooting, and plan break/fix scenarios
- Rescind, correct, advance workflows or transactions
- Configure business processes in the applications based on given business requirements
- Participate in application upgrade impact analysis and management
- Establish relationship with key stakeholders and seek to understand business needs
- Lead efforts in determining user requirements, propose design and test system solutions
- Perform ad hoc system projects as required
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in HR Consultancy, HR technology or a related field
- In-depth knowledge on HRIS systems, especially in Workday with strong functional and technical skills in Core HR, Recruitment, Learning, Performance Management and Time and Attendance
- Demonstrated ability to manage full life-cycle of HRIS-related projects from understanding user requirements to translating these into system configurations would be an advantage
- Candidates with HR Change Management experience would be advantageous.
- Possess good experience and exposure in client facing and implementation roles
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
