The Senior Analyst, HRIS & People Analytics is responsible in supporting the portfolio of technology and process improvement initiatives that are collectively encompassed under People & Culture (P&C) to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of P&C Process and Delivery.
The Senior Analyst, HRIS & People Analytics will report to the Director, People Operations. You will partners with stakeholders across P&C and within other divisions in developing technical recommendations and solutions to meet the business needs.
Support HRIS team on delivering customer value, through the day-to-day management of application maintenance and enhancement activities
Support HRIS team in documenting outcomes, objectives, scope, functionality, etc. re P&C technology initiatives
Assist with business analysis and preparation of documentation of configuration and requirements to facilitate knowledge transfer and customer value discussions (e.g. functional and non-functional requirements, workflows, functional specifications, data mapping, etc.) with appropriate detail and quality for configuring and testing team members to consume and complete their respective deliverables
Develop recommendations/options and facilitates the selection of viable solutions/alternatives
Contribute to the operation and improvement of the team
Research on Workday community for solutions and continuous improvement including semi-annual updates
Support and assists in developing and coordinating through to completion testing strategies, this includes but not limited to: executing, drafting, coordinating events and maintaining testing / test scripts
Troubleshoot, analyze, detect and correct system issues and respond to internal queries on navigation
Maintain / build reports and calc fields in Workday and ensuring data is yielded accordingly
Maintain security assignment, custom notifications and custom organizations
Prepare, test and execute EIB for mass loads
Maintenance of issue log with Workday and internal case management tool (JIRA)
On-going audit of system to proactively identify and mitigate risks
Support Director, Peoples Operations as directed
University degree or equivalent experience (Business/Operations, Computer Science, Engineering)
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an information technology service delivery role including: testing, reporting, troubleshooting, researching
Workday knowledge required
Strong specialized technical knowledge in HR systems and ability to link technology to broader teams business process
Experience working in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team
Independent worker that works well within a team environment
Good understanding of techniques and tools pertaining to the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of technology solutions as they relate to Workday
Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete tasks to meet deadlines
Proactive customer service focus
Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple levels of clients, team and partners
Strong attention to detail
