Role Summary

The Director of Site Marketing is responsible for converting corporate marketing strategy into localized, high-impact execution that drives revenue, brand awareness, and customer acquisition. This role bridges strategy and execution—owning field-level planning, go-to-market playbooks, and on-the-ground activation while ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.

This Director Level role will oversee a team (3+ FTE) marketing operations support and field execution personnel. This position is ideal for a marketing professional with strong leadership and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy + Planning

  • Develop and own field marketing strategy aligned to company growth goals and market priorities
  • Define go-to-market plans for new site openings, grand openings, and mature market growth
  • Build scalable playbooks for localized marketing that can be deployed across multiple markets
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize markets, initiatives, and investment levels
  • Serve as the voice of the field back to corporate marketing and leadership

2. Field Execution + Activation

  • Serve as lead on all local marketing campaigns including events, promotions, and community engagement
  • Execute pre-opening, opening, and post-opening marketing plans for new locations
  • Coordinate field marketing timelines and ensure consistent execution across regions
  • Act as the primary marketing lead for regional and site-level leadership

3. Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and manage a 3+ person team of marketing professionals  
  • Set clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations for direct reports
  • Provide ongoing development, feedback, and performance management
  • Ensure team capacity, workload balance, and execution excellence across markets
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Training, and Brand teams to ensure integrated execution
  • Provide clear direction, tools, and expectations to field teams or vendors

4. Performance + Optimization

  • Define success metrics for field marketing initiatives (car count, conversions, membership, ROI)
  • Track performance of campaigns and new site cohorts (first 90–120 days)
  • Identify gaps, test improvements, and optimize programs based on results

5. Budget + Resource Management

  • Own site marketing budgets and allocations by market / channel
  • Manage agency partners, vendors and local partners
  • Ensure efficient speed, scalability and measurable outcomes

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in strategy, marketing or project management
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multi-site or growth-oriented organization
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership
