As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions.
- Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service quality.
- Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools and techniques to detect and analyze system anomalies.
- Ability to work with multiple software components and understand their interactions within business-critical environments.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in maintaining system documentation and creating detailed incident reports.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
