The team

Join the litigation team to help defend Kraken around the world. As a close-knit team that solves the hardest problems in high stakes environments, we focus on building and executing complex case strategy, while learning along the way. Crypto threatens many established interests, so our team is often required to defend against efforts to attack or delegitimize Kraken or crypto generally.

The opportunity

  • Manage litigation and regulatory discovery for Kraken’s global entities under attorney supervision

  • Create systems and processes for acquiring, preserving, producing, and managing relevant data for all Kraken litigation and regulatory matters

  • Standardize software tools used for document hold notices, discovery, and case management

  • Standardize productions across a broad range of cases

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills you should HODL

  • 6+ years of relevant experience managing expansive discovery in complex matters–whether in-house, in government, or at a top law firm

  • A deep understanding of regulatory and litigation discovery

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and judgment

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset

  • An interest in crypto

Nice to haves

  • Handled discovery in a broad range of jurisdictions, including the US, EU, UK, Canada, and others

  • Comfortable with highly regulated or technologically complex spaces, such as financial services or technology companies

  • Experience soliciting and selecting software tools to build scalable systems

  • Have built and documented efficient processes
