Primary Function

Can work under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. Incumbents at this level perform intermediate troubleshooting, work with limited technical guidance and may provide work training to less experienced maintenance

  • Safety and Environmental protection– Monitor and ensure the compliance of them rules and procedures of security, hygiene and protection environmental, to safeguard the health of the personal and the conservation of equipment e facilities. As well as follow up on plans and programs of safety of your Department

  • Quality – Ensure product meets customers’ evolving expectations.  Communicate quality standards and expectations to all operations employees.
  • Ensure all production activities are performed in accordance with all ISO and GMP requirements.

  • Production – Verify and maintaining all equipment to meet support production volumes and quality parameters.

  • Supports continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Ensures team adaptability, flexibility, and readiness to change.

  • Assist in the performance appraisal and training for all mechanics.(support all skill cross training)   
  • Maintain and promote the proper working environment always looking for safe and inclusive.
  • Share good practices with other plants and areas.
  • Promotes continuous development in team and self.
  • Reinforce the communication across others areas to update the knowledge between areas.

Knowledge, Skills,

and Requirements:

  • AA Degree, Completed Apprenticeship, or Certified advanced training, 1-2 years experience in maintenance or 3 years of experience in Production Areas
  • SMAW, GMAW welding, Basic electrical repair and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office user
  • Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
  • English.
