Position Summary

You will lead medical and scientific activities for oncology in Mexico. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external experts to shape medical strategy, generate evidence, and support patient access. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Develop and deliver a local medical strategy for oncology aligned with regional and global plans.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical investigators, and external scientific experts.
• Design, support and oversee local clinical and real-world evidence studies, including investigator-sponsored studies.
• Provide scientific support across launch and lifecycle activities, including medical review of materials and field medical training.
• Translate medical insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams, including regulatory and patient access colleagues.
• Manage budgets and ensure all activities follow ethical, legal and company governance standards.

Basic Qualifications

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

• Medical degree, pharmacy degree, life sciences degree, or equivalent clinical/scientific qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical affairs, clinical development or related roles within oncology.
• Strong knowledge of oncology clinical practice, research methods, and evidence generation.
• Proven experience engaging with external experts and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Mexico and to regional meetings. Role type: hybrid, with regular presence at the Mexico office and field visits as required.

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, or clinical specialty) or equivalent postgraduate training.
• Experience working with health technology assessment, reimbursement, or market access teams.
• Previous people management or project leadership experience.
• Familiarity with medical governance, compliance review, and medical information processes.
• Experience working in an international pharmaceutical company or within cross‑country teams.
