Job Description

As Senior Data & AI Designer, you will have the opportunity to bring together the Design and Data & AI domains, designing Data & AI solutions that have a real impact on staff and patient experiences. This includes developing intuitive ways of interacting with data through visual analytics, enhancing human-AI collaboration by designing AI interaction, designing customer-centric data collection experiences to improve data quality (UX Telemetry), and ensuring these insights integrate seamlessly into workflows and care pathways. You will collaborate with designers and non-designers and engage in technical dialogues to ensure our experience perspective is well embedded.

You are responsible for

  • Building differentiating Data & AI propositions encompassing data that are relevant to our end users

  • Gather, structure, visualize to translate data into insights

  • Support other designers in embedding data & AI into their design practice

  • Bridge the design capabilities with data science/AI capabilities

  • Design and prototype novel AI solutions.

You are a part of

The Data & AI Design Design team, a group of Data & AI designers with expertise on UX, visualization, user experience research, prototyping and service design. The Data & AI Design team is part of global 400+ design community and working on both business as research driven projects.  

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree (WO/HBO) in Design, HCI or Computer Science combined with 7 years relevant experience.

  • Experience in design environment and value proposition building

  • Hands on programming skills (Data Visualization Libraries (e.g. D3),  Reactive Java Script Frameworks (e.g. React), NodeJS, or equivalent)

  • Knowledge and experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence

  • Independently act in both innovation projects as business projects

  • English verbal and writing

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office based role.
