Axiom Space fosters a work environment inclusive of all perspectives. We are the pioneers of commercial space, leading the transformation of low-Earth orbit into a global space marketplace. Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Director, Investor Relations who is fueled by high accountability, execution horsepower, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.
POSITION SUMMARY
Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Director of Investor Relations to drive Axiom's engagement with the global investment community and play a central role in shaping the company's long-term capital markets positioning as it scales as a late-stage private company and prepares for eventual public markets.
This leader will serve as a close thought partner to the CFO, helping shape and articulate Axiom's strategy, capital allocation priorities, and long-term financial trajectory in a manner that is institutionally credible, investable, and stands up to capital markets scrutiny. The role sits at the intersection of investor relations, financial communications, and capital raising, with particular emphasis on translating Axiom's complex, capital-intensive, technology-driven business model to a broad range of investors across various capital markets.
This position reports to the CFO and the location is remote (New York), with regular travel to Houston headquarters and to investor meetings, conferences, and other business engagements.

Partner with the executive leadership team to translate Axiom's long-term strategy into a coherent, financeable investment narrative.
Collaborate with FP&A on preparation and delivery of external materials for Axiom's long-range plan, ensuring alignment with internal plans, Board materials, and investor communications.
Partner with Finance, Legal, and other senior leaders to align planning, reporting, disclosures, and investor-relevant KPIs with capital markets expectations, while ensuring appropriate governance and compliance.
Help build and scale systems, processes, and governance consistent with public-company IR expectations, including disclosure controls, quiet period policies, and investor communication protocols.
Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, advising on how major initiatives, investments, and decisions are or will be perceived by current and prospective investors.
