Pay Rate: $18.20/hour

Leadership and Functional Responsibilities:

•  Perform the setup and operation of packaging and bagging equipment on designated product lines according to the production schedule

• Packaging and labeling coffee 

• Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observed

• Ensure all production complies with quality and food safety standards

• Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with food safety standards

• Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out

• Perform safety checks on every machine prior to and during runtime

• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output

• Setup operational parameters (run speed, quantity, shapes, and sizes) on machine terminals or controls

• Record all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or production related information as required

• Participate in production process improvement efforts

Education and Skill Requirements

• High school education or equivalent

• Previous packaging machine experience helpful

• Ability to safely lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

• US Military Veteran a plus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work

• Light to moderate lifting is required

• Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
