We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Project Manager.  In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing various projects within a technical operational environment.

The Project Manager role is crucial as it ensures the successful execution of projects, maintains relationships with third-party vendors, and fulfills client needs while delivering results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple projects independently, varying in size and complexity.
  • Establishes and sustains relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Provides monthly forecasts for HVAC installations.
  • Engages in contractor meetings for project planning and scheduling.
  • Manages changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Supports the engineering team and contractors with scoping and structural analysis.
  • Communicates directly with customers, account management, and the executive team to provide updates on installations.
  • Addresses customer escalations and ensures timely resolutions.
  • Collaborates closely with the fulfillment team to manage need-by dates, equipment availability, and delivery.
  • Provides remote technical support to vendors/contractors during the installation of equipment.
  • Reviews surveys to ensure the accuracy and quality of work meet Budderfly standards.
  • Holds contractors accountable for communication, coordination, or installation issues, including the completion of punch list items.
  • Assists with warranty and RMA of defective equipment or components.
  • Conducts the job close-out process, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and post-surveys have been uploaded and approved by all necessary parties.
  • Manages the financial execution of assigned projects within the budget.
  • Reviews contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness of supporting information.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Broad understanding of project management and operational policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Must possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC installations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Work experience counts in lieu of a college degree.
  • Project Management Certification and/or Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently with complex interdependencies.
  • Experience in the energy sector is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Extensive organizational and time-management skills to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
  • Flexible hours are required as field crews’ schedules will vary and may include some weekend and late-night work.
  • Occasional travel-30%-40% 

Location: Remote

Compensation
$90,000$105,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
