Essential Functions/Key Deliverables  

  • Maintain familiarity with and understanding of stock levels within the warehouse daily and check the range of duties assigned for the current day.
  • Provide team with necessary information and tools to effectively perform duties.
  • Oversees the proper completion of work tasks and provide hands-on assistance when needed.
  • Record pre-use checks in the provided system or the vehicle logbook as required. 
  • Check the delivered quantities and condition of the goods recording data on the receiving form accurately.
  • Unload goods, packaging, raw materials and other from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places using FLT.
  • Use the SAP RFID scanning system equipment correctly following set orders and assigned tasks to ensure accuracy of inventory. Coordinate to ensure RF monitors are in good working order. 
  • Transport materials to the production department complying with FIFO procedures.
  • Select /sort packaging materials when required and assist with stock take.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of CP systems, including performing internal audits as required. 
  • Safely exchange fork truck gas cylinders, refill fuel tank, or replace, re-charge batteries (whichever applies).
  • Ensure warehouse documentation: inbound, outbound, and other orders are recorded and held in the SAP system and other programs.
  • Coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product and picking/staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity.
  • Coordinates and verifies required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all product is properly counted.
  • Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
  • Participates in establishing work schedules ensuring correct implementation.
  • Must adhere to all plant GMP and BRC requirements.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role. 
  • Assist Warehouse Coordinator in the day-to-day duties.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience 

  • High school or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift is required.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • A basic working knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, SAP.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization.
