What you’ll do

As an IT Full Stack Developer Intern for a period of 3 months at a leading financial services company, you will:

• Contribute to the delivery of lifecycles for large-scale IT projects.
• Work closely with experienced consultants in an international team.
• Gain hands-on experience with:
  • The daily maintenance of a custom developed application for one of our clients in the insurance sector.
  • End-to-end development activities including handling new feature requests, bug fixes, front-end and back-end implementation.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  • Participating in code reviews and applying best practices.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the application performance.
  • Documenting development processes and technical decisions.

Your profile

• Eager to learn and not afraid of new technologies and concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Curious to understand the bigger picture.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue — or the motivation to learn them on the go.
• Experience with Java development (knowledge of Spring Boot is a plus), or the ambition to learn it during the internship.
• Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries is a plus.
• Willingness to learn about Cloud and DevOps.
• Good communication skills in Dutch/French and English.
