Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications in the telecommunications domain; develop detailed solution architecture using microservices, Rest APIs, Java, Angular JS, SQL, Graph QL, Plant UML, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Vizio, and Draw.io; perform Order Management and Business Process Management; use API platforms including Postman, SOAP UI, and Parasoft SOA; work with OSS/BSS in the telecommunications domain; document design elements with sequence diagrams, Swagger API specs, and related diagrams; work with the product owners, solution designers, and developers to refine and clarify stories;  ensure programs are envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs; interface with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs; ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule; track and document requirements for enterprise development projects and enhancements; monitor current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects; apply and integrate emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture; present solutions to senior architects; plan and design new or upgraded systems; interact with departments to implement improvements in process; develop solution architecture (both tactical and strategic) to fully manage/support enterprise needs, services, systems and technology management; mentor team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture; and develop, document and ensure compliance with best practices including but not limited to the following coding standards, object oriented designs, platform and framework specific design concerns and human interface guidelines. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience performing Order Management and Business Process Management; using Graph QL; of which three (3) years include developing detailed solution architecture using microservices and Rest APIs; of which one (1) year of experience includes developing software using Jira, Confluence, Java, and SQL; using API platforms including Postman and SOAP UI; working with design applications including Microsoft Vizio and Draw.io; and working with OSS/BSS in the telecommunications domain.
