VIE Risk Management

We are looking for a VIE to join the Euronext Securities Risk Management team, based in Oslo, with a start date of 1 January 2026. As part of Euronext Group Risk, you will support the protection of company value, assets and reputation by identifying, assessing and mitigating risks, raising awareness, monitoring, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Identifying and assessing risks in collaboration with business units and presenting risk profiles to senior management
  • Advising on mitigation strategies across business and support functions
  • Developing and monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and promoting risk awareness throughout the organisation
  • Analysing data to produce actionable risk reports and escalating issues as needed
  • Reviewing and improving risk methodologies, policies and practices
  • Supporting risk management in projects and strategic initiatives
  • Contributing to the definition and communication of risk appetite
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and applying best practices in risk reporting
  • Enhancing existing reporting tools and developing new ones as required

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, risk management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements and best practices is an advantage
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Norwegian is an asset
  • Eligible for the VIE programme (aged 18-28, EU citizen, not having worked or resided in Norway for more than 12 months in the last three years)
