POSITION SUMMARY: 

The position will be primarily responsible for the skill development of Inside Sales Executives to achieve new business quota.  Additional responsibilities include coordinating with Regional Sales Director/Manager to ensure the daily operations of Inside Sales Executives are executed at a quality rate.   

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the on-boarding & mentoring new Inside Sales Executives to hit new business quota; Manage assigned agents to achieve new business quota each month.  Obtain commitment from agency which coincides with achieving new business quota.
  • Execute outbound calls (20-50/day) 
  • Company leader and liaison between agency and company personnel to identify and resolve issues which detract from profitable growth and positive company and agency perception (work with the field Regional Sales Manager in order to achieve team goals and agent growth).
  • Manage and support Sales Executives with weekly or monthly performance reports, team meetings, call reports. Timely update of the CRM database, submission of qualified new agency appointments with all the required documentation, timely and detailed submission of monthly territory report, competitor worksheet, proper documentation for agency terminations.
  • Train agents on company underwriting guidelines, procedures, programs, website and web rater.  Educate agency on who to contact with questions.
  • Manage and Match the agency to the products offered.
  • Occasional Field Travel to visit agents (once/year).
  • Attend periodic sales and education meetings as provided by the company.  Seek assistance and advice from Manager for career development and career path.  Attend and participate in industry related classes which further job proficiency.  Effectively learn and execute the sales processes taught by the company and be accountable to performance objectives.
  • Participate in agent functions and trade shows/conventions.

Position Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of Inside Sales experience.
  • 2 years of Industry experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Demonstrates effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible in nature and highly motivated self-starter.    
  • Basic ability of operating computer (PC) is necessary including Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Should demonstrate time management skills.                            
  • Should be a logical problem solver.                                                
  • Possible interest in career growth to outside sales (could require future relocation).
  • Comfort level of interpreting statistical data from company reports is also necessary.

  • This position is a remote role that can be worked from a US based home in the Southwest region of the US.

The range for this position is $60,900 to $106,600. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.  This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
