MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • The Sales Operations Manager serves as a strategic business partner to the Ethical Head & commercial management team to find the opportunities and drive operation enhancement in terms of sales strategy implementation including Offtake forecast, IMS/ ITS and DOH management.
  • The role leads sales planning, forecasting, commercial administration, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, HR, and Compliance functions to ensure business objectives are achieved while maintaining strong operational controls and compliance standards.
  • The incumbent is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring sufficient commercial investments and product availability, supporting field force execution, and acting as the first line of defense in identifying and escalating commercial governance risks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Planning & Sales Performance Management

  • Partner closely with Ethical Head and Commercial Leadership Team to develop annual operating plans, quarterly business reviews, and monthly sales execution plans.
  • Monitor and analyze IMS, TMS, OT, ITS, DOH, customer performance, and territory productivity to identify business opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain standardized business dashboards covering IMS, TMS, OT, ITS, DOH, forecast accuracy, productivity metrics, investment utilization, and operational KPIs.
  • Lead monthly target phasing and deployment process across products, regions, territories, and key accounts.
  • Continuously evaluate business performance and recommend actions to improve sales productivity, market penetration, customer coverage, and execution effectiveness.
  • Consolidate field insights from Business Managers, KAMs, and Field Force teams to support business planning and decision making.

Demand Planning & Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure demand forecasts accurately reflect market dynamics and business expectations.
  • Lead demand planning process for Ethical portfolio and monitor forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to optimize stock allocation, inventory management, DOH performance, and product availability.
  • Partner with Finance to monitor commercial investments, spending utilization, accruals, and budget effectiveness to maximize return on investment.
  • Coordinate credit allocation and stock allocation planning to support achievement of business targets while minimizing operational risks.

Commercial Operations & Field Force Enablement

  • Ensure Ethical field force receives timely operational support to execute business activities effectively.
  • Oversee execution of commercial administration processes including HCP engagement contracts, POS agreements, vendor management, payment processing, and event-related documentation.
  • Establish service level expectations and process standards to improve operational efficiency and field force experience.
  • Support KAMs, FF Managers, and teams in resolving operational issues that may impact customer engagement and business execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, resource allocation, and commercial execution effectiveness through data-driven analysis.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Act as first-line business owner for commercial governance controls Ethical commercial operations.
  • Monitor payment transactions, HCP engagements, customer activities, and operational processes to identify unusual patterns, potential compliance concerns, or control weaknesses.
  • Escalate suspicious activities, payment irregularities, and process violations to appropriate stakeholders including Commercial Excellence, OEC, Internal Controls, HR, and Commercial Leadership.
  • Support investigation processes and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive adherence to company policies, SOPs, approval matrices, financial controls, and ethical standards.

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Work Experience
Minimum 2 years – 4 years in the role or similar job R&R

  • Experience in working with sales team, MKT team and able to demonstrate the capability in biz driving to meet target or biz goal
