Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director, Communications, you will develop and execute communication strategies to guide employee behaviors for assigned functions and manage corporate reputation in a manner that supports the company's goals. You will spend a significant amount of time managing our intranet and building relationships with management throughout the organization e.g., Sales, R&D and HR.

Position Responsibilities

  • Intranet Management: Oversee the continuous improvement of the company intranet to ensure it supports internal communication needs. Provide support for intranet-related issues, collaborate with departments to gather, create, and publish content, and monitor intranet usage to generate analytics that enhance user experience.
  • Communication Expertise: Provide communication expertise and leadership to functional leaders and/or as part of cross-functional teams for key enterprise projects/initiatives, including developing communications strategies, planning and managing implementation.
  • Message Development: Work with functional leaders and executives in message development. Develop a communication system that ensures message integration, leadership involvement and efficient distribution of information, and multi-directional dialogue.
  • Executive Communications: Provide communication expertise and leadership for key executive-led meetings/events, including managing the creation and distribution of content through a variety of communications vehicles.
  • Content Management: Ensure all communications are researched, written, designed, produced, translated, packaged, scheduled, and delivered to employees on-time and on-budget through all communication vehicles.
  • Stakeholder Messaging: In coordination with other members of the Communication & External Relations team, manage messaging and position the company positively with all stakeholders.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related area required
  • 7+ years corporate communication or agency experience required
  • Experience with the use of a broad mix of communication strategies and channels (e.g., intranet, digital signage, newsletters, videos) to deliver simple, compelling messages quickly across the organization to all levels of employees
  • Expert-level communication (written and verbal) and message development skills
  • Strong fundamental business acumen and analytical skills necessary to communicate critical business context and establish effectiveness metrics
  • Strategic orientation and the ability to define and guide communication strategy
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience working senior leaders and cross-functionally with partners at all levels
  • Experience working with the media a plus

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
