AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

How you will create an impact

The Standard Commercial Underwriting Program (SCUP) is a multi-year initiative to transform AIG’s underwriting business processes, products, and technology solutions.  SCUP is a high-paced, high-intensity environment leading the underwriting transformation at AIG. The Delivery Office Application Delivery Leader will be a key member of the SCUP delivery office. 

  • How to execute complex end-to-end transformation delivery projects and programs.
  • How to define and execute all program processes, including Resource Management, Financial Management, Risk/Issue Management, Vendor/Contract Management, Status Reporting, and overall Program Governance.
  • Knowledge of policies or claims insurance transformation delivery, agile release planning principles, and program/project management.

 What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5+ years delivering complex system integration projects
  • 2+ years of hands-on project management
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to function in  a demanding matrixed environment
  • Strong global IT Delivery experience and expertise in P&C insurance transformation
  • Strong understanding of project/program management processes and procedures
  • Very organized with strong attention to detail
  • Consulting or project transformation experience at an intermediate level
  • Leadership – Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well.  Excellent team skills.  Can successfully organize and influence large teams of people.  Energetic leader with a positive attitude and a go-getter drive.  Ability to effectively interact with senior management
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability for productive collaboration across varying departments.  Comfortable building relationships, internally and externally
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient
  • Comfortable in voicing his/her opinion and representing the viewpoints of others in a productive manner
  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity, conflict, and difficult situations, and ability to deal with change in a proactive and positive manner
