Job Description

As a member of the Private Markets Division, you will contribute and make an impact towards designing, building, and maintaining solutions supporting the iLevel platform. 

 

The team is part of the larger Private Markets technology team, composed of over 100+ engineers operating out of the USA (United States of America), Europe, and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with focus on quality and high performance. 

 

iLEVEL is a key application of the Private Markets toolset set built with cloud native technologies (AWS), responsive React front ends and C# microservices to collect, calculate at high capacity and visualize private market investments. These components are distributed through a modern, fully automated CI/CD pipeline to serve a high availability toolset to customers around the globe.

Knowledge: 

  • Take a leadership role in software-related projects.
  • Present reports outlining the outcome, making recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and providing objectives for success.
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized area and general knowledge of related areas.

Job Complexity:

  • Lead the design and development of hardware and/or software operating systems.
  • Monitor project plans and budgets.
  • Provide guidance to others to solve complex, non-routine problems and determine the best solution through cost/benefit analysis.
  • Determine methods and procedures for new or special assignments. Provide guidance/suggestions to others where needed.
  • Recommend new products and provide guidance and expertise in their development using in-depth knowledge of various software languages. Considered to have mastered one or more programming languages.
  • Work on issues that impact design success or address future concepts, products, or technologies.

Supervisor/ Mentoring:

  • Work within own other teams as a lead and/or member.
  • Create formal networks involving coordination among groups. Responsible for managing several IC.
  • Developing Project and People management skills; how to create an inclusive team, bias awareness and management of bias, how to be an effective coach

Tech Skills:

  • 10+ years experience developing applications with .NET/C# 
  • Has proven knowledge to design underlying engineering for use in multiple product offerings and support a small volume of end users.
  • Mastered effective software design techniques, on SDLC and Agile methodologies and software maintenance
  • Cloud based platforms, especially AWS 

  • Microservice architecture design

  • Proactively invests time to build and live the culture. Supports and develops others' cultural awareness.
