A bit about us
At Placemakr, home meets hospitality. We’ve combined the best of apartment living, vacation rentals, and hotel stays into one experience. We partner with developers, property operators, and investors to curate a collection of apartment-like spaces in hand-picked neighborhoods. Our tech-enabled buildings create one-of-a-kind guest experiences and add tremendous value to the underlying real estate. Whether guests are with us for a night, a year, or somewhere in between, these are more than just spaces to spend the night — they’re a place to call home.

Our property team members help our buildings thrive by focusing on execution and ensuring a great experience for both residents and guests. Our non-property team members support property execution and the evolution of other areas within our platform. They can enjoy remote-first work with the freedom to choose their location — as long as they have access to a workspace and reliable Wi-Fi. We believe collaboration is key, so our remote-first teams and property leaders have biannual in-person get-togethers at various locations across the US.

From corporate non-property team members to our property teams and leaders, we’re looking for collaborative, driven individuals to join us as we continue to expand our presence.

The Impact You’ll Have
Our mission is to blend hospitality and home, and at the core of this idea is reimagining how people use and think about real estate.

As Associate Director of Real Estate Strategy, you'll play an integral role in realizing that mission. You will sit on our Real Estate Partnerships (REPP) team where you will help scale our real estate portfolio through the refinement and operation of a best-in-class sales enablement function. You will work with our real estate leadership team to define overall sales goals and strategy, design and execute specific growth initiatives, empower our Sales team with compelling case studies and market research, oversee real estate prospecting, and own our CRM to measure success and identify opportunities for change. You will manage our team of Sales Strategy analysts as you do this work.

You will also be responsible for thoughtfully embedding AI and automation into our existing sales processes. This work includes identifying opportunities where AI can add value to sales processes, materials and activities; identifying the right AI tools and vendors to capitalize on those opportunities; and implementing the solutions while supporting the team with organizational change management.

If you have a passion for sales strategy, thrive in dynamic environments and are excited about using AI to elevate a strong sales team, this position is your chance to drive meaningful impact that will help us keep reimagining real estate from the ground up.

Success in this role is defined as the creation and maintenance of a world-class, AI-supported sales team. The attributes of someone successful in this role include: a strategic and analytical mindset, exceptional written communication and presentation skills, strong people leadership skills, ability to organize people and resolve conflict, and a strong interest and/or experience in leveraging AI to improve established processes.
