Cost Accounting Analyst

Description -

The successful candidate will understand Personal Systems Supply Chain flows and the impact and contributions to the Operations margin. The employee will be part of an organization with continuous improvement, grow mindset and a recognition culture.

Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • This job involves providing detailed financial analysis related to business transactions or strategies.
  • The person in this role should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to apply them effectively.
  • They will work closely with business leaders to meet their financial analysis needs and tackle more complex business challenges.
  • Additionally, they will contribute analytical support to various business projects and gain a deeper insight into the company’s financial procedures and the specifics of the business area they support.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • May have experience in more than one finance function.
  • Experience in Supply Chain inventory a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Accounting Knowledge: Solid grasp of accounting methods and concepts.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in analyzing data and information.
  • Business Software Proficiency: Familiarity with business tools like LH, S4, and Excel. Knowledge of Power BI and Python is a plus.
  • Communication: Effective in English, both written and spoken.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others.
