A Day in the Life

You will be tasked to provide quality engineering support in design and development of medical device products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing software test plans, analyzing test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our software development process.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• As our V&V engineer, your Key Accountabilities will involve: Develop and execute detailed software verification and validation plans and test cases based on software requirements and design documents
• Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work with the development team to resolve them
• Document and communicate test results, anomalies, and issues to the development team and management
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality processes
• Continuously assess and improve testing processes and methodologies

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or software verification & validation
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
• Verbal and written communication skills including protocol / report development and technical presentations 
• Experience of verification/validation tests plan (protocol) design, test execution and test reports
• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace) is a plus
