Overview
Directs, monitors, and administers the computing activities of a school at the University.

Advanced trouble shooting and problem resolution skills.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Directs and develops technological strategies and activities to support the area of responsibility. 2. Authorizes modification and replacement of equipment. 3. Authorizes additions of systems and architectures along with related applications. 4. Monitors area of responsibility to ensure adherence to budget, service and policy requirements. 5. Authorizes facility use by non-work related users. 6. Participates in budget formulations and cost-recovery ideas. 7. Researches and evaluates industry trends to assess their usefulness. 8. Directs the resources and overall operation of the facility. 9. Provides guidance with problem resolution and user complaints. 10. Directs a staff of non-exempt and exempt employees. 11. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field.
