Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Business Support
Support the Head of Wealth Malaysia in driving the overall wealth management strategy, business priorities, and key initiatives across the country.
Assist in preparing business updates, strategy papers, management reports, board materials, and presentation decks related to wealth performance, sales growth, AUM, client acquisition, product penetration, and revenue targets.
Track progress of key strategic initiatives and follow up with relevant teams to ensure timely execution.
2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Prepare and consolidate regular business performance reports, including wealth revenue, AUM growth, product sales, RM productivity, client segmentation, campaign performance, and key KPIs.
Highlight key trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making by the Head of Wealth Malaysia.
Coordinate with finance, product, sales, analytics, and regional teams to obtain accurate and timely data.
3. Meeting & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate internal and external meetings, including senior management meetings, sales reviews, business reviews, product discussions, and strategic planning sessions.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-up trackers.
Liaise with key stakeholders across Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Private Banking, Investment, Bancassurance, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Marketing, and Regional Wealth teams.
4. Project & Initiative Management
Support the execution of wealth-related projects such as client acquisition campaigns, RM capability-building programmes, product launches, client events, digital wealth initiatives, and service enhancement projects.
Monitor project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder responsibilities.
Escalate delays or issues where required and ensure proper follow-through.
5. Communication & Presentation Support
Draft professional communications, briefing notes, speeches, announcements, and updates on behalf of the Head of Wealth Malaysia.
Prepare clear, concise, and senior-management-ready presentation materials.
Ensure all communication reflects the desired wealth management positioning, business tone, and strategic direction.
6. Governance, Compliance & Confidentiality
Assist in tracking governance matters, approvals, audit-related follow-ups, policy updates, and risk/compliance requirements relevant to the Wealth business.
Maintain proper documentation of key decisions, approvals, reports, and meeting records.
Handle confidential and sensitive business information with discretion and professionalism.
7. Administrative & Executive Support
Manage calendar scheduling, meeting arrangements, travel coordination, expense claims, document preparation, and other administrative matters for the Head of Wealth Malaysia.
Prioritise requests and ensure smooth daily operations for the office of the Head of Wealth.
Act as a reliable point of coordination between the Head of Wealth Malaysia and internal/external stakeholders.
