Be the catalyst for exciting new offerings that have global impact in the AI, kubernetes, and linux infrastructure markets. The Red Hat Ecosystem Team is looking for a Senior Technical Strategist to join our growing Global Partner Ecosystem Success team focused on cultivating new joint offerings with Red Hat’s strategic OEM hardware partner ecosystem. This person will engage HPE, Dell, Lenovo, and other global OEMs to align Red Hat’s key markets/initiatives, solutions, products, and technologies. This role will be responsible for developing Red Hat’s OEM ecosystem technology strategy and product priorities globally; working side-by-side with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Regional Partner Account Manager teams at Red Hat and in conjunction with senior leadership at both Red Hat and our OEM hardware partners.
What you will do
Develop and execute on an overall technology vision, strategy, and product plan for Red Hat’s OEM partners.
Drive global product and offering level technical planning and commitment between RH product managers and partner product managers.
Identify key areas of alignment between Red Hat and OEM partners, focused on specific industries or target growth markets & solutions offerings.
Establish technical criteria for joint solutions and drive requirements through Red Hat product management, ecosystem engineering, ecosystem partner management, and product engineering.
Engage all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Services, etc.) and decision makers, to drive cross-functional alignment and go-to-market strategies.
Evangelize Red Hat products and technologies to key stakeholders at all levels of the partner and the channel.
5+ years of experience in technical business development working with senior leadership to conceptualize, build, and execute global scale partnership initiatives.
Consistent track record driving joint solution development, product integration, and/or technology development with global scale partners.
Prior experience in product or offering management, helping prioritize offerings & features.
Prior experience working with OEMs and key technology ecosystem players such as NVIDIA, Intel, and Arm.
Hands on knowledge of enterprise software and infrastructure technology including but not limited to, Hybrid Cloud, Kubernetes, AI, Edge, etc.
Ability to work across multiple teams and multiple geographies within Red Hat
Creative and curious with a sense of humor and a professional attitude
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
