About the Role

As an enterprise architect, you will be responsible for developing and governing the enterprise architecture across applications, digital, data and integration domains, ensuring IT initiatives align with architectural principles and business strategy, and driving solution design that supports AIA’s growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Technology Forecasting and Evaluation:

  • Stay abreast of new and emerging generative AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of diverse AI platforms.

Design & Implementation:

  • Oversee both strategic planning and hands-on prototyping to enable innovative solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced application (including AI) that harness principles from cognitive psychology, neuroscience, logic, and decision theory.

Innovation Leadership and Use Case Incubation:

  • Drive innovation through ideation sessions and design thinking workshops to identify high-impact AI use cases.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and manage pilot programs that validate and refine these AI-driven initiatives before wider adoption.

Enterprise Architecture Roadmap:

  • Define the future-state architecture that marries traditional IT disciplines with generative AI capabilities, ensuring that the roadmap reflects both current business needs and future growth opportunities.
  • Formulate technology roadmaps that create a competitive advantage through emerging AI, cloud, and integration technologies.

Stakeholder and Change Management:

  • Collaborate with regional business units, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure alignment on architecture standards and AI innovation initiatives.
  • Lead change management and stakeholder engagement efforts to promote adoption and ensure smooth transitions as new technologies are implemented.

Technical & Strategic Integration:

  • Contribute to strategic discussions on improving customer experience, usability, and digital transformation through innovative AI solutions.
  • Ensure that AI initiatives are aligned with broader enterprise goals while maintaining a balance between creative innovation and technical depth.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Develop guidelines and standards for the development and deployment of AI solutions, ensuring that all initiatives adhere to internal policies and best practices.
  • Monitor and govern the execution of projects to ensure consistency with the overall Enterprise Architecture and emerging AI governance frameworks.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Background:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT disciplines is desirable, though candidates with fewer years but significant hands-on generative AI and innovation experience will be considered.
  • Proven track record in both traditional IT architecture and cutting-edge AI/ML engineering practices, with demonstrable experience in innovation leadership.
  • Familiarity with multiple generative AI platforms and ecosystems such as DeepSeek, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure AI, Ali/Tencent AI, and popular open source frameworks.

Innovation & Design Thinking:

  • Strong background in design thinking methodologies, business case development, and pilot program execution for AI initiatives.
  • Experience in ideating and incubating use cases that bridge technical innovation with real business value.

Agentic Workflow Design:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing agentic workflows, with a multidisciplinary background that includes elements of cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and logic & decision theory.

Strategic & Technical Acumen:

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with technical depth, contributing to both long-term enterprise planning and hands-on AI solution development.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives that leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage.

Collaboration and Change Management:

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with experience in change management and stakeholder engagement across regional business units.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams and drive consensus in a diverse organizational environment.
