GSK is looking to hire a Professional Relations Manager to join our Retail Channel team. This role is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and on-site collaboration at our Canadian office. This is a key commercial leadership role responsible for executing innovative growth strategies and leading a team of Account Managers to maximize the performance of GSK’s product portfolio within the retail segment.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional business strategies, driving pharmacy chain engagement, and aligning with cross-functional partners to ensure customer strategies are connected to GSK’s portfolio objectives. You will collaborate closely with Payer, Medical, Marketing, SGA, and Channel Account Directors to optimize profitable volume growth and long-term business success.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Leading a sales team of Account Managers and executing regional resource plans to maximize profitable volume growth
Maintaining a high working knowledge of industry, marketplace, and customer insights including integrated healthcare delivery systems, physician organizations, and pharmacy networks
Ensuring national marketing strategies are translated into actionable regional business plans
Assessing the regional business environment for opportunities for growth and business objective achievement across customer segments
Developing and directing integrated regional brand launch plans and strategies that include marketing, pharmacy, and managed care initiatives
Building and implementing strategies focused on pharmacy chains to strengthen GSK’s retail presence
Partnering closely with the Regional/Area CTC team on activities and tools to mitigate competitor switches in pharmacies
Ensuring employees are equipped with the right skills and capabilities to deliver against targets
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree
Proven account management and sales leadership experience
Experience in multinational companies
Background in sales, commercial, trade-marketing, or marketing
Budget management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree
Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influencing, and prioritization skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strategic thinking capability with strong analytical and presentation skills
