Job Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Operations Leader is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for shaping and executing the talent acquisition operations vision for LPL Financial. This role drives continuous optimization of recruiting processes, with a core focus on recruiting quality, analytics, operational controls, and system enablement. Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, and business stakeholders, this leader uses data to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance across the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Design & Implementation: Lead the development, documentation, and implementation of innovative, scalable recruitment processes that streamline talent acquisition, enhance recruiter effectiveness, and elevate candidate experience. Apply Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks, automate routine transactions, and ensure process consistency across business units and geographies.

  • Recruitment Data & Analytics: Serve as the primary architect and steward of recruiting analytics, collaborating with HR Technology teams and business analytics teams to build dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reporting frameworks that deliver actionable insight to stakeholders. Proactively monitor, validate, and synthesize data from ATS, sourcing platforms, and vendor systems to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive strategic initiatives.

  • ATS & system enablement (Workday): Own and optimize Workday Recruiting (and integrated tools) from an operational standpoint; translate recruiter and business needs into system enhancements, drive user adoption, and ensure documented best practices and consistent execution.

  • Vendor & program management: Serve as the lead for external recruiting partners and platforms; manage vendor relationships, SLAs, quarterly business reviews, invoicing, renewals, and performance feedback.

  • Recruiter & Sourcing Oversight: Monitor recruiter performance across all sourcing channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, databases), using analytics to track source of hire, ROI, and pipeline health. Provide coaching, feedback, and upskilling opportunities for the sourcing team and associate recruiters. Align short- and long-term goals and drive operational excellence through data transparency.

  • People Leadership: Lead and develop a small team, setting clear goals and expectations, providing coaching and performance feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high-quality service delivery.

  • Project & Change Management: Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives within talent acquisition, leveraging data and best practices to deliver measurable impact. Ensure timely and transparent communication, stakeholder alignment, and detailed project documentation.

  • Policy, Compliance & Risk: Maintain strict adherence to all legal and regulatory standards for data privacy, workplace accommodation, and equal opportunity. Serve as TA’s reviewer of new tools/services for compliance, documenting processes, and coordinating with procurement and accounts payable for contract and payment tracking.

  • Technology Innovation & Evaluation: Continuously assessing new and existing recruiting tools and services for automation, analytics, and candidate experience enhancements. Lead system tests, validate configurations, sign off on releases, and champion adoption of innovative solutions.

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong, collaborative relationships with recruiting, HR, business leaders, and internal service partners. Incorporate feedback in talent acquisition processes and performance reviews, aligning operations with broader enterprise strategies.

  • Additional Leadership: Oversee ad hoc and strategic TA projects as assigned by the SVP of Talent Acquisition, taking ownership for project outcomes, analytics, and reporting.
