This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.
Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 6am-completion
Pay Details: $21 per hour
Summary of Role: Supports warehouse operations across receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipment activities to maintain accurate and timely product flow. Coordinates inventory handling and material movement within established procedures to preserve stock visibility and workflow continuity. Verifies product, transaction, and order information to strengthen traceability, fulfillment accuracy, and loss prevention. Resolves routine warehouse discrepancies and contributes to minor workflow improvements that enhance consistency and service continuity.
Responsibilities
Actual duties and responsibilities may vary based on business needs, local requirements, and operational practices. Where a team member's role is governed by an employment agreement, local terms and conditions, prior job description or collective bargaining agreement, those documents shall prevail in case of any inconsistency. Mandatory local laws shall also prevail.
Maintains shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation to preserve complete and accessible operational records.
Enters warehouse data to capture inventory movements, order status, and shipment activity accurately.
Routes materials, orders, and exception items through the appropriate workflows to support timely processing.
Prepares reports on inventory status, shipment activity, and recurring operational issues for routine review.
Updates records related to stock balances, storage locations, and transaction activity to maintain control accuracy.
Answers routine operational inquiries from internal and external contacts to provide status support and execution clarity.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Important Skills:
Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
Ability to read and understand the English language
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Nice to have:
Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
