About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a talented Senior PR and marketing expert to join our Nordic PR & Marketing team. You will be responsible for driving both consumer and trade PR activities, trade marketing activities, events and digital campaigns across the Nordic region including Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Based out of our Stockholm office (and remote), you will partner with our local podcaster relations and sales teams to help increase the number of both podcasters and advertisers choosing Acast.

You will also manage and be supported by the Nordic PR & Marketing Coordinator.

This opportunity is suited to someone who loves podcasts and has a strong grasp of the podcasting space and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. The role would suit a PR agency Account Manager looking to take the next step in a career in-house, or an in-house PR & Marketing professional looking to progress and join a thriving, fast-moving industry.  This is a fixed term contract of 12 months.

How will you contribute?
PR/Comms
• Create and maintain relationships with relevant influencers, journalists and digital community leaders to raise the profile of Acast and our work
• Maintain strong relationships with the relevant trade media to ensure Acast is top of mind for media coverage
• Monitor press stories relating to the company and its brand and competitors
• Maximizing opportunities for positive PR
• Track and analyze PR metrics and success
• Develop, write, and edit materials such as press releases, Q&As, briefing documents, fact sheets, bylined articles and presentations
• Ensure timely follow-up for press inquiries and interview requests and oversee press interviews, video shoots and demos with spokespeople

Marketing
• Create and edit blogs, newsletters, web and social media copy/content and press releases, and other written materials as required
• Maintain a speaking calendar for the Acast Nordics leadership team
• Coordinate events and other activations in the Nordic market and oversee any relevant award entries
• Localize global marketing campaigns for the Nordic market and oversee local marketing budgets

Events
• Support the Nordics teams on executing owned events, both internal and external. Examples could be agency activations, attending trade events, putting together education panels, hosting live podcast events, etc. 
• Oversee and coordinate a calendar of events for the Nordic team to sponsor or speaking engagements

The ideal skills for this role include:
• Minimum 3-5 years of PR experience – in-house or agency is ideal and on top of that, experience from working in a listed company is a plus
• Previous experience writing and pitching press releases and data-led stories to media
• Fully conversant in digital and social media and experience within community management such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, or other social media
• You have well-developed and well-maintained media relationships
• Fantastic organizational and decision-making skills and an innate ability to manage multiple projects at once
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented startup environment
• You are collaborative and have the ability to work as part of a global team, and also with brand, product, community and social media teams on product launches and marketing campaigns
• A keen interest and natural affinity for streaming media, podcasting, audio, and tech
•Support on marketing campaigns and initiatives - internal or external - for example marketing partnerships, house ad campaigns, photo-shoots, creating content and more.
