What you'll do...
Introduction
Walmart Global Tech is the technical powerhouse behind Walmart Global eCommerce. We employ big data at scale -- from machine learning, data mining and optimization algorithms, to modeling and analyzing massive flows of data from online, social, mobile and offline commerce. We don’t just engineer cool websites, mobile apps, and new services; we use our own open-source tools to create the framework. Deployment is automated and accelerated through our open cloud platform. This makes us incredibly nimble and able to adjust in real-time to our global customers
What you’ll do:
· Work with small teams of talented engineers to build a best-in-class solutions
· Participate in the discovery phase to come up with high level design
· Collaborate with team members to influence the architecture and design of software and help bring quality into the design of the product
· Be given the freedom to try new things, prove the value of your own ideas and innovations, and own them all the way to production
· Create and maintain test suites for functional, regression, acceptance and UAT testing
· Responsible for functional, integration, data integrity and regression in order to ensure quality of code before releasing to production
· Participate in internal hackathons and innovation challenges!
· Stay updated on the latest technologies both in the company and industry and be able to utilize them to good effect
· Unify inventory management responsibilities currently spread across multiple systems and teams.
· Debug production issues with other teams across services and multiple levels of the stack.
What you’ll bring:
Full-stack developer with extensive experience in the IT Design and development to accelerate the delivery of the Walmart Warehouse Management initiatives.
· Will be Designing and Developing high scalable Cloud microservices for Walmart Supply Chain fulfillment area
· Will be guiding a team of junior developers in the developing solutions and providing technical expertise
· Will be collaborating across cross platform team to achieve highly scalable integrations
· Will be working closely with Automation vendors in building NextGen Warehouse management solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
· Java Basics & Java spring-boot programming
· Java Design patterns and implementation
· Cloud technology experience with CI/CD deployment strategy
· Data Streaming
· Database

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
