Support IT & Automation Lead in providing expertise technical knowledge/advice to IPT/Lab/COE’s on computerized/automation systems.
Performs Automation System maintenance, including system backup, disaster recovery, and obsolescence activities, and ensures automation systems remain in a validated state
Ensures timely resolution of identified automation issues and unplanned events identified in the daily walk-through
Escalate any ongoing automations issues to IT & Automation Lead in a timely manner.
Perform automation change controls with guidance from Automation Senior Specialist to ensure that changes are raised and closed on time following the required quality standards.
Prepares and performs automation related test plans, and documentation, ensuring documentation meets required regulatory standards
Develops Automation SOPs, Job Aids and procedures
Develops and updates Automation training packages, and conducts Automation training
Support for deviation and operation investigation requiring code and system-level troubleshooting.
Supports a continuous improvement framework within Automation and the IPT/Lab, and works with Leads to identify and implement improvements
Lead/Support Automation systems related over Mid size projects in the site under the supervision of IT & Automation Lead
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical engineering, or others
Experience:
At least 4 to 5 years of technical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or related industries.
Business level Japanese and English communication skills
Broad knowledge and experiences in IT, Machine Automation, Engineering, Environment, Health and Safety.
Substantial experience in automation related problem solving.
Digital solution implementation experiences at shopfloor
Use of analytical tool (for root cause analysis) and familiarity with data analytics tools,
Leadership, Professional and Functional Competencies*
Ability to work towards targets and within deadlines and prioritize tasks as per needs
Exceptional communication skills
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
