We are seeking a talented Senior English Copywriter to join our creative team at VML. This role calls for a talented writer who can produce engaging copy and effectively work with clients to bring their ideas to fruition.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling, clear, and engaging copy for a variety of advertising campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and broadcast.
  • Client Collaboration: Participate in client calls to understand their needs, provide updates, and present creative concepts and ideas.
  • Campaign Development: Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute campaign ideas that align with the client’s brand and objectives.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all copy is accurate, error-free, and adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to create informed and effective copy.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Collaboration: Partner with designers, art directors, and other team members to ensure cohesive and impactful creative outputs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a copywriting role, preferably within an advertising agency.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Exceptional command of the English language, with excellent grammar and writing skills.
  • Client Interaction: Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently handle client calls and present ideas.
  • Creative Thinking: Proven ability to generate creative concepts and bring ideas to life through engaging copy.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt writing style to different brands, audiences, and media formats.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well within a creative team environment.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
