We are searching for the best talent for STAFF PROCESS EXCELLENCE ENGINEER to be in Juarez City.
You will be responsible for:
- Defines opportunities, analyzes data, designs manufacturing line flows, and improves business processes. Improvement initiatives are led by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams that deliver tangible business results through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools.
- Utilizing business, leadership and technical skills. He/She will execute projects and mentor all groups (associate to management) at the site, developing a continuous improvement culture.
- Demonstrates understanding of cross-functional processes in a manufacturing plant.
- Applies knowledge of relevant continuous improvement tools and approaches to increase production up-time, minimize unplanned maintenance, minimizes work in process inventories (WIP) or plant inventories and implement cost reduction initiatives across equipment and labor.
- Recognizes machine operating conditions and requirements for optimum production runs and can troubleshoot and resolve basic line performance issues.
- Demonstrates ability to identify constraints in, or non-conformances resulting from, the production process through analysis of material, people and information movement/flow.
- Demonstrates an ability to effectively interface with other engineering disciplines, such as Controls and Automation engineering and New Product Introduction teams.
- Demonstrates ability to understand product cost drivers by interpreting product bill of materials and cost sheets to ensure adherence to projected cost.
- Leverages knowledge of product costs and drivers, and Design to Value concepts, to effectively participate in cross-functional teams pursuing product cost improvement initiatives.
- Able to deliver oral and written communications around process improvement projects.
- Communication should show clarity of objectives.
- Understanding financial processes (standard cost development) and business planning is preferred.
- Leads change, connects with others and shapes the environment.
- Demonstrates assertiveness & collaboration skills. Has a record of tangible improvements.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Shows strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Leads the administration of the plant layout and demonstrates ability to identify constraints and proposes optimization projects
Qualifications / Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is preferred in an Engineering or Science discipline. An advanced degree, such an MS or an MBA is preferred
- From 5 to 7 years. Lean certification as Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred. Six Sigma certification as Black Belt or Master Black Belt is preferred.
- Certified Black Belt preferred. Lean certification is strongly recommended. Experience should include Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, Project Management and strong cross-functional business experience. Understanding financial processes (standard cost development) and business planning is preferred.
- Experience in requesting and translating customer needs is preferred. Experience in designing end-to-end supply chains is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer packages such as Excel, Access and PowerPoint. AutoCad and other similar software.
- Must possess demonstrated analytical capacity.
- Knowledge in Finances
- Bilingual English – Spanish
- Good interpersonal relations and ease of written and oral communication.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Must be perseverant: good follow up and project direction.
- Knowledge of Product Cost (Std Cost).
- Must understand and translate the needs of the client.
- Knowledge of Quality and Production techniques (CFM, JIT, TQM, etc.).
